She was the Greater Goddess of Arcana. She enveloped herself in experiments trying to manipulate more powerful energies then before. She succeeded more and more making her way from a lesser goddess to a greater goddess. She happened by luck to find a large quantity of energy she never saw before floating in between the planes. She created a small plane next to the energy so she could draw some of it into an isolated work space. She drew a small amount in at first probing it with her mental energy trying to see its nature and see if she could grab hold of it in anyway. She probed it and found nothing. It had not places she could grab onto it from and control it with and she couldn’t feel it’s nature. She had never seen any energy like it. As she studied it she saw a ripple in the energy. First she was excited thinking she finally got hold of it and could move it a bit, she soon found that when she tried again it wouldn’t move. She wasn’t the one who made it move. She got scared since she didn’t move it who did, she quickly started to teleport back to the divine plane of arcana. Before she could finish the energy lunged out and grabbed her. It pulled her out of her plane she created to her horror. Only supreme gods could survive for short periods outside of the planes. The energy the enveloped her however prevented her from dying out there as well as escaping. The energy poured into her every orifice some how continuing to force its way in even when the energy cloud looked larger then her by a massive extent. After the whole cloud was absorbed she opened her eyes but the one who opened her eyes was no longer her. The energy had overshadowed her, she could no longer move her body. She could clearly see that the energy chose to leave her alive instead of killing her of and taking the body. She heard then through her soul what sounded like a thousand voices, men and women talking in perfect unison. “I’ll take your body for now, I’ll decided later if I’ll give it back” Then she heard laughter roaring through her soul so loud it was painful. “After all its only fair that I take your freedom since you tried to take mine. You really thought I would just sit there forever.” Once again it was laughing maniacally. “Now I need a good name, a female one this time. Ah I’ve got it Morgana.”
